Meh

I agree with the people that are calling this mediocre and superficial. The scenes don't really have much content in them, they're just edited to the song in such a way that it gets an emotional response from people. But, like you said, it's 3 days work so w/e. I just think that the people that say it's touching and heartwarming just fell for the montage/emotional song effect. BTW, Ellie comes across as a huge ass to me. She's telling this guy to "move" and "take the next step" (which he is doing for who knows what reason) and for all we know she hasn't done shit to improve herself or the world.

I've got a lot to say, but it's late soooo...

First of all, excellent job on doing your research. I'm refering mainly to the good job you did on explaining LD-50 and kids smoking 4-6 blunts a day (which I had never thought of before). Generally you did an excellent job formulating and presenting an argument for weed and doing it in a pretty entertaining way.

On to the cons:

-(as a flash in general)
The voice quality was a little low in some of the segments, and some of the voices sounded a little strange. (But I'm not voice actor myself, so w/e)

I haven't done much research on weed so I could be wrong, but I may as well present my knowledge.

-You did mention the harmful effects of smoking in general, but you stated that weed itself is harmless. From what i've read weed can lead to schizophrenia (sp?) and a described "lack of motivation" in heavy users. The results of the research are supposedly controversial, but it may be worth mentioning.

-Just a suggestion, you could do a comparison to prohibition as an example of legalizing a commonly used illegal substance being much safer and healthier for most Americans than keeping it illegal.

-Also while you make fun of anti-weed commercials for being propaganda, certain parts of the flash struck me as propaganda in itself. But I suppose that's hard to avoid and still keep the entertainment value high.

BTW, I'm 18 and have been smoking for a little over a year. My only "side affect" so far is getting caught by the cops and being sent home. I've been accepted to a good college kept good friends etc etc. Also, your flash project on the harmful affects of other drugs sounds fairly interesting, and I personally agree that that would be a smarter route for the war on drugs to take.

It was pretty good

The only problem that I have is that you say you hate clock crew, but your movie is basically the same as what they make.

BTW, was the ninja game parody at the end from Ninja Gaiden or shinobi? I remember playing that game and want to find it again, but I'm not sure which it is. (I think it's the original Ninja Gaiden)

You say it's longer, but I disagree.

While it's possible that the game is longer if you include all of the branches, each individual branch seems much shorter than the original. It's possible I'm remembering this wrong, but I remember the original good ending took me 5-10 minutes of playing. In this game, I got two good endings and several bad endings in less than 10 minutes.

In short, having many branches is nice, but not if each individual branch is very short.

A pretty exciting game.

I found it pretty easy though. If anyone is having trouble, flip the platform over completely. If the edges curve down, all the baddies roll off and don't tilt the platform as aggressively.

This is made of God and win

I was playing this last night thinking to myself how much scripting this must have taken, with that in mind there are still a few small things you could improve.

(Keep in mind I'm going to list EVERYTHING that I didnt like about the game. The fact that I can do that in such a small list shows how awesome this game is)

*The melee fighting is really hit or miss. It's pretty much hit attack a lot and really hope to hit them more than they hit you.

*Cheat codes could be cool

*IDK, maybe a story mode could be added?

*I tinkered with the level editor last night and it seemed a little bit... blah, but it was late and I was tired so don't take that into too much account.

With that said, basically EVERY other aspect is perfect. The levels are all different and interesting (sky level is amazing), the weapons are all interesting and fun (Magic may be a bit to powerful but oh well), and the character edit is pretty awesome as well.
